How Frozen 2 Can Help You Be More Resilient

I have been getting texts asking me to share my insights on how to deal with the fear and anxiety during this time. While I have many thoughts; what I found most helpful today (and is a way to support your children) was watching Frozen 2. I love using media (movies, television, YouTube, tictoc, books, etc..) as a way to connect and meet my kids where they are at.

Please keep reading for the messages from the movie that I found relevant for this moment in history. Modeling these mindsets is a good place to start in order to manage your own stress, which will ultimately benefit your child's well-being. Please know I am always here for you❀

*Everything is temporary. We don't suffer when we accept that change is an important part of life.

*Life is uncertain, and yet we are NEVER powerless to do something. Your biggest job is to learn to tame the fear.

*We all need to become brave leaders as we step into the unknown.

*There will always be gifts that arise from our challenges.

*We are not in this alone and we ALL need to pitch in.

*All challenges are invitations to expand and raise our consciousness.

*We each have a unique purpose/gift that the world needs right now. You were born full of strength and resilience, never forget that.

*You have every right to feel your feelings and holding space for others to feel there's is a wonderful gift you can give.

*Be like Olaf, and always stay playful (and sing a lot).

*It might seem like this is happening TO you, but it is really happening FOR you. Now is the time to grow yourself into something new.

Just do the next right thing. Don't look too far ahead, all you have to do is break down the next step and keep stumbling towards the light.
